Curtis Fowler, PA-C

Curtis Fowler, DMSc, PA-C is a California-based clinician and educator with over 24 years of experience in family medicine and internal medicine. A proud graduate of UC Davis PA Program and Rocky Mountain University's doctoral program, Curtis currently serves as Principal Faculty at West Coast University, where he brings clinical medicine to life for the next generation of PAs.

Beyond the classroom, Curtis serves with his local fire department's Mobile Integrated Health unit; a program dedicated to connecting high-frequency 911 callers, predominantly elderly patients, with the right care at the right time.

A regular speaker at state and national conferences, Curtis has a special fondness for his geriatric patients admiring their resilience, perspective, and quiet appreciation for good care. He is honored to serve as Secretary of the board.

Gina Hogg, PA-C

Gina Hogg, PA-C

Gina Hogg brings over six years of leadership to the GMPA Board as Marketing Director, blending clinical expertise with a high-level background in corporate communications. Currently practicing in Hospital Medicine, her clinical career also spans Endocrinology and Inpatient Geriatrics. This multifaceted experience allows her to advocate fiercely for health literacy and specialized geriatric care.

Before transitioning into medicine, Gina enjoyed a successful career in marketing and public relations. Today, she leverages those skills to manage GMPA’s public presence and educational initiatives, ensuring members stay connected to the latest research and best practices.

A dedicated educator, Gina frequently lectures and serves as a preceptor for her alma mater, focusing on expanding geriatric proficiency among Physician Associate students. Her commitment to the profession is further evidenced by her collaborative work in developing the NCCPA Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Geriatrics.

Jessica Wright, MBA, PA-C

Jessica Wright is the current President of Geriatric Medicine PAs. With over fifteen years of clinical experience in geriatrics, long-term care, and internal medicine, she serves as a physician associate on an inpatient geriatric consult service and in skilled nursing facilities. Jessica is a nationally recognized educator and advocate for physician associate leadership, geriatrics policy, and transitions of care.

She has published and presented extensively and developed multiple educational curricula. She, alongside her GMPA colleagues helped to develop the NCCPA Geriatric Certificate of Added Qualifications and in 2025 was named as an American Geriatrics Society Emerging Leader in Aging Tideswell Scholar. Mrs. Wright holds leadership roles in geriatrics at the national and state level and has been involved in Geriatrics education and systems improvement internationally.

Jessica Wright is passionate about advocating for older adults and about increasing the footprint of PAs in Geriatric Medicine.

Lynne O’Mara, MBA, PA-C

Lynne O'Mara serves as Immediate Past President and current Vice President of the GMPA Board. She brings extensive experience in geriatric surgery and a strong background in system-level leadership, with particular expertise in clinical operations and digital implementation initiatives that advance care for older adults. 

 

She has led national advocacy efforts supporting the development of the NCCPA Geriatric Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) and is a American Geriatrics Society Emerging Leader in Aging Tideswell Scholar (2022) committed to advancing geriatric workforce development and innovation. She also serves as a committee member for Geriatric Surgery Verification through the American College of Surgeons, contributing to national standards that improve surgical care for older adults.

Passionate about system-level innovation, change management, and the use of digital infrastructure to hardwire age-friendly best practices, Lynne is dedicated to advancing safer, higher-quality care for older adults across healthcare settings
